Description
English: 'Theyyam' is a Hindu Shamanic ritualistic dance forms practiced in northern Kerala and some parts of Karnataka. The people of the region consider Theyyam itself as a channel to a god and they thus seek blessings from Theyyam. There are different types of Theyyam in all over Kerala & they all have different ways of rituals & customs performed according to the regional traditions & beliefs.
