Description
English: The burial site of a lantern, dubbed 'Lennie the Lantern', which was buried on 22 July 1961 during a ceremony led by local Dulacca councillor Cr Walter Whatley, as a way for the community of Dulacca to commemorate the official switch on of their electricity supply by local state MP William Ewan. The monument at the burial site in Roy Henderson Park was unveiled on the 35th anniversary of Dulacca's electricity supply in 1996.
