Édifice Waddell-Sun Life Building Annex / Élévation Est (détail). Construction: 1884 / John W. & Edward Hopkins. Bâtiment imposant utilisant la polychromie des matériaux: brique rouge, grès chamois (Angleterre) et granit rouge de Kingston (Ontario). La Compagnie d'Assurance Sun Life, qui a déjà construit un édifice sur le lot voisin en 1891, achète ce bâtiment et en fait son annexe en 1897.
