Description
English:
The gateway of the two-story eclectic corner building is decorated with a row of Gothic seating booths dating from the 14th century. At the beginning of the 18th century, the Scottish Benedictines built here. The present building was built as an revenue building (Miethaus) in 1884. From 1938 to 1945, the German Embassy operated here. In 1953, the Budapest Metropolitan Council moved its road-bridge-utility design company (abbr. FŐMTI) here. Since 1994, here is the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany (Botschaft der Bundesrepublic Deutschland). Part of the Budapest World Heritage protected architectural ensembles. In 2022 participiants was the Budapest 100 event. Guided tours were available. Plaque of cultural heritage monument on its facade: ~On the main level of the bastion walk wing (SW wing) of this building, pillars of XV century have survived. These pillars are probably remains of a middle age arcades - 64-66 Úri Street (Tóth Árpád Promenade and Lant Street corner), Várnegyed neighborhood, District I of Budapest.

Eklektikus sarok bérpalotának épült 1884-ben. 1953-tól Fővárosi Mérnöki Tervező Iroda Belül középkori (14. sz.) épület maradványa azonosítója 214 (törzsszám 15099). 1994 óta a német nagykövetség található benne Budapest műemléki jelentőségű területe az ún. Világörökség része. Műemléki azonosító: 217, törzsszám: 15001 budapest100 2022 egyik csatlakozó épülete volt.
