Description
English: Train stop Štrba zastávka on Žilina-Košice railway on a September evening, looking roughly NW-bound. Parts of Štrba bridge on D1 motorway are visible just behind the train stop, further to the right are lights radiating from settlements Tatranská Štrba and further up Štrbské Pleso. The Mlynická valley beyond Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras sits between the two snow-capped ridges (Hrebeň bášt to the right, Solisko to the left), both topping out at just over 2400 m ASL, parts of Furkotská and Važecká valleys are also visible. The Slovak national mountain Kriváň, which would have been roughly in the middle, is hidden behind a cloud layer.
