Description
English: Chateau complex in "Žďár nad Sázavou" in the early evening, view from the church of St. Jan Nepomucký on the Green Mountain. Originally Gothic cistercian monastery of the Virgin Mary (Fons Beatae Mariae Virginis), modified in Baroque style (architecture of so-called Baroque Gothic, Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel he was involved in the construction). The monastery abolished after 1784 and was rebuilt into a chateau. The castle complex is situated on the western bank of the Konventský pond (the pond is powered by a stream of the "Stržský" brook). Čeština: Zámecký areál ve Žďáru nad Sázavou v podvečer, pohled od kostela sv. Jana Nepomuckého na Zelené hoře. Původně gotický cisterciácký klášter Studnice Blahoslavené Panny Marie, upraven ve stylu baroka (architektura tzv. barokní gotiky, na přestavbě se podílel Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel). Klášter zrušený po roce 1784 přebudován na zámek. Zámecký areál se nachází na západním břehu Konventského rybníku (průtočný Stržským potokem). V areálu historické památky (Bazilika Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a svatého Mikuláše, kaple Panny Marie aj.). Foto lokace: Česko, Kraj Vysočina, město Žďár nad Sázavou, svah Zelené hory (315°).


Faktografie:
Klášter Studnice Blahoslavené Panny Marie založený v roce 1252, po roce 1784 zrušený. Původně gotická stavba byla barokně upravena. Na stavebních úpravách se podílel Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel, český architekt italského původu, styl architektury jeho staveb se označuje za barokní gotiku. V letech 1615 až 1639 sloužil jako františkánský klášter. V roce 1826 získán do soukromého vlastnictví, postupně v držení několika šlechtických rodů, po roce 1948 ve vlastnictví československého státu, v roce 1991 v restitucích vrácen rodině Kinských (rod Kinští). V bývalém pivovaru vzniklo Muzeum nové generace. Zdroje informací:
