English: View of the city of Yakhroma, Moscow Oblast, Russia facing west from the Peremilovskaya Hill. In late November 1941, the ridge east of the Moscow Canal (it flows right-to-left, obstructed by the dark forest) was the last line of Soviet defense during the battle of Moscow. |
