Old Russian singing by Old Believers

| Description |
English: Concert of spiritual hymns of the Vyatka Old Believer Community of Kirov of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church in the Herzen City Library.
The concert featured chants of the znamenny chant, as well as spiritual poems, which are an original example of folk art. The audience was presented with an exhibition of unique handwritten and printed singing books of the Old Believers of the XV-I-XX centuries. in which the special Old Russian culture of znamenny singing is preserved.Русский: Концерт духовных песнопений Вятской старообрядческой общины г. Кирова Русской Православной Старообрядческой Церкви в городской библиотеке имени Герцена.
В концерте прозвучали песнопения знаменного распева, а также духовные стихи, являющиеся самобытным образцом народного творчества. Зрителям была представлена выставка уникальных рукописных и печатных певческих книг старообрядцев XVI-XX вв. в которых сохраняется особенная древнерусская культура знаменного пения.
