Русский: Битва под Миром (1812). Этот рисунок был использован для иллюстрирования статьи «Мир» опубликованной в шестнадцатом томе «Военной энциклопедии», который был издан книгоиздательским товариществом И. Д. Сытина в 1914 году в столице Российской империи городе Санкт-Петербурге. Более подробное описание к этой иллюстрации можно прочесть в указанной выше статье на сайте Русской Викитеки.
English: The Battle of Mir took place on 9 and 10 July 1812 during Napoleon's invasion of Russia. Three Polish Lancers divisions battled against Russian cavalry, ending in the first major Russian victory in the French invasion of Russia.

Deutsch: Die Schlacht bei Mir war eine Schlacht zu Beginn des Russlandfeldzugs 1812 von Napoleon Bonaparte, die sich am 9. und 10. Juli in der Nähe der weißrussischen Ortschaft Mir ereignete. Drei Ulanenregimenter des mit Napoleon verbündeten Herzogtums Warschau erlitten eine Niederlage gegen russische Kavallerieverbände.
