English: Bull Sperm, painted by fluorescent DNA-dye Hoechst 33342, brightly light up if irradiate their by ultraviolet light (excitation maximum of Hoechst 33342-DNA complex = 355 nm, emission maximum = 465 nm). DNA painting of bull sperm conduct for getting of sexing sperm (fractions X- or Y-cells) in order to control calves sex (Sexing Technologies Inc.).
Українська: Сперматозоїди бугая, пофарбовані флуоресцентним ДНК-барвником Hoechst 33342, яскраво спалахують, якщо освітити їх ультрафіолетом (максимум збудження у барвника Hoechst 33342 у комплексі з ДНК = 355 нм, максимум еміссії = 465 nm). ДНК-фарбування сперматозоїдів бугая проводять для отримання сексованої сперми (фракції X- або Y-клітин) з метою керування статтю телят (Sexing Technologies Inc.).
