עברית: בית הכנסת אליהו הנביא שימש כתלמוד תורה ובית מדרש לילדי היהודים הספרדיים בירושלים, ובחגים ושבתות התפללו בו האשכנזים. שמו ניתן לאחר שבאחד מימי יום כיפור הופיע איש פלאי שהשלים מניין ונעלם בצאת הצום. המתפללים האמינו כי היה זה אליהו הנביא ועד היום מוצב הכיסא שעליו ישב במערה בפינת בית הכנסת.
