Descriptionماسال استان گیلان 3.jpg	فارسی: ماسال دهستانی در غرب استان گیلان , نزدیک به شهر های صومعه سرا و فومن و از استان اردبیل نزدیک به خلخال میباشد . مردم ماسال تالش زبان هستند و رسم و رسوم تالشی دارند.. فعالیت اکثر مردم ماسال علاوه بر داشتن شعل های دیگر دامداری و کشاورزی میباشد . ماسال منطقه ای کوهپایه ای است و دارای ییلاقات زیبایی از جمله اولسبلنگاه و سوئه چاله میباشد که در سطح کشور معروف هستند . در سال های اخیر ماسال به منطقه ای گردشگری تبدیل شده است که سالانه میزبان صد ها هزار مسافر از تمام کشور میباشد . به همین دلیل فعالیت گردشگری و اجاره ی ویلا نیز در حال رونق و رقابت با کشاورزی و دامداری در ماسال میباشد . بعد از دهه ی 90 شمسی و ورود به قرن 15 شمسی ماسال اکثر فاکتور های شهر بودن خود را از دست داده و دیگر نمیتوان آنرا شهر شمرد
