Summary edit

Description
British English: 'Mishti doi' or Sweetened dahi is an indigenous bengali dessert. It is omnipresent in every bengali tradition, from festivals to celebrations.

Apart of it's cultural importance, it's role as a probiotic nourishes our gut microflora; a true heaven for lactose intolerant but mishti loving bengalis.

The above photograph is from my memory gallery where my parents and i, hurdled together one afternoon, to make this bengali delicacy at home sharing our own sweet moments.
