இளம் இலைகள் உண்ணத் தக்கதவை; விதையிலிருந்து எண்ணெய் தயாரிப்பர்; இந்த எண்ணெய் சமையலுக்கு உதவுகிறது ; சோப்புத் தயாரிக்கவும் விளக்கு எரிக்கவும் இந்த எண்ணெய் பயன்படுகிறது ;முளை கட்டிய விதைகள் பலகாரங்களில் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறது ;பூத்துக் குலுங்கும் செடிகள் பார்க்கக் கொள்ளை அழகு !பேச் (Bach)என்ற ஹோமியோபதி மருத்துவர் செடிகளின் மீது படியும் பனித்துளிகளைப் பிராந்தியில் கலந்து , அதனை மன அழுத்தம் , பித்துப்பிடித்ததுபோல இருக்கும் மன நோய்களுக்கு மருந்தாக்கினார்.அவரது மருத்துவத்திற்குக் காட்டுக்கடுகுச் செடியும் பயனாகியுள்ளது . படம் = காட்டுக் கடுகின் இளம் காய்கள்! ஒரு கம்பளிப் புழு ஒரு காயை நோக்கி நகர்ந்துவருவதைப் பாருங்கள்! ஒவ்வொரு செடிக்கு ஒவ்வொரு எதிரி இருக்கிறது !கம்பளிப்பூச்சி முருங்கை மரத்தில் நிறையை இருக்கும் !அதுபோலத்தான் காட்டுக்கடுகில் கம்பளிப்பூச்சி !செடியில் இருக்கும் அப்பூச்சியின் நிறம் செடியோடு ஒத்து இருக்கும் ! இதனை ‘camouflage’என்பர் ! |
