Medicinal oil prepared from this herb is usedfor eye diseases, eye sight

deterioration and to kill body pain; Siddha physicians prepare medicines from this plant for anti-infection , anti- inflammation and antimicrobial actions; Ink is prepared from flower ; For scent preparation also flower is utilised.
