ภายในวิหารจะมีภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง ภาพจิตรกรรมหรือ “ฮูบแต้ม (รูปแต้ม) ” ในวัดภูมินทร์เป็นฝีมือของ หนานบัวผัน สล่าชาวไทลื้อ (สล่า เป็นภาษาเหนือแปลว่า ช่างฝีมือ) ในสมัยเจ้าอนันตวรฤทธิเดช เมื่อ พ.ศ.2410 (ปลายสมัยรัชกาลที่ 4) ภาพเขียนในวัดเป็นเรื่องราว ชาดกในพุทธศาสนาประกอบกับวิถีชีวิตของคนเมืองในสมัยนั้น มีภาพที่น่าสนใจอยู่หลายภาพ เช่น ภาพปู่ม่าน ย่าม่าน ซึ่งเป็นคำเรียกผู้ชายผู้หญิงชาวไทลื้อในสมัยโบราณกระซิบสนทนากัน ผู้ชายสักหมึก ผู้หญิง แต่งกายไทลื้ออย่างเต็มยศ ภาพนี้ได้รับการ ยกย่องว่าเป็นภาพที่สมบูรณ์ สะท้อนความเป็นชาวไทลื้อ แถมช่างวาดยังมีการใช้สีแดง ฟ้าดำ น้ำตาลเข้มเป็นปื้นใหญ่ๆ คล้ายภาพสมัยใหม่ ภาพนี้มีความโดดเด่นจนเป็นสัญลักษณ์หนึ่งของเมืองน่าน ในที่สุด
