甍は落ちたれど （蘇州）

一本の木材の梁もない開元寺の無梁殿と言ふのは、この城門のやうな建物である。唐の開元二十六年の創建、一木を用ひないで全部石の細甎を以て築き上げたもので、中央の天井が穹窿となつて本堂となり、四方の壁には梵網經を刻むだ奇妙な御堂だ。｜寺は咸豐年間に燒けてしまつて、廣い境內には、今は、古瓦とこの一殿だけしか殘つてゐない。｜（一九三〇、撮影）（印畫の複製を禁ず）
