中文（繁體）：和美道東書院建於清咸豐七年(西元1857年)，道東書院名稱象徵「王道東來」之意，是台灣現存較為完整的古書院，總佔地面積約為兩千五百坪，主祀神祇為朱文公之神位，屬於二級古蹟。道東書院的建築格局為二進式的四合院，前埕有一惜字亭，中庭左右各有一間護室，講堂寬有三開間、深五開間，空間相當大且氣派。道東書院的藝術裝飾也有頗高的價值。 |
