中文：图为檀香山国民党人欢迎蒋介石夫人陈洁如时合影。1927年9月，陈洁如等到达檀香山时，当地国民党支部八十余人举行欢迎大会。横幅上写“中国国民党檀香山忠实同志欢迎蒋夫人大会”。但9月27日，蒋介石在上海《申报》上发表声明：“民国十年原配毛氏与中正正式离婚，其他二氏（指姚冶诚与陈洁如）本无婚约，现已与中正脱离关系”。蒋的做法是为与宋美龄结婚扫除障碍。蒋介石的声明，在美洲国民党人中引起了混乱，而陈洁如亦隐居纽约，消声匿迹。
