中文（臺灣）：太魯閣戰爭前夕，總督府從臺灣各地調派軍隊嚴陣以待，並且兵分兩條路線攻打內太魯閣番，討伐行動分別以合歡山、立霧溪口為根據地，西路由軍隊自合歡山向下壓制，東路由警察隊溯立霧溪仰攻，而東西兩路同時入侵內太魯閣區。本圖拍攝於花蓮港街，為當時東路的軍隊自花蓮港（今南濱一帶）上岸後，集結經過花蓮港街的景象。圖片中可以看見當時集結的人數量之多，非常壯觀，當時的花蓮港廳不過四五千人，而總督府為這次戰爭所投資的人力幾乎快達花蓮港廳人口的兩倍。此圖為臺灣日日新報寫真班攝影。本資料出自於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，此書由花蓮出身的葉柏強先生撰寫，是一本擁有大量歷史影像的書籍，於2016年（民國105年）出版，可以透過此書了解花蓮的城市變遷樣貌。 |
