取材自袁枚《随园诗话》二六：

戊戌春，余在杭州。两姬置酒，招女眷游西湖。瑶英以诗辞云：“呼女窗前看刺凤，课儿灯下学涂鸦。韶光一刻难虚掷，那有闲看湖上花?”既而，遣人劫之，曰：“娘子不来，怕作诗耶?”果飞舆而至，到湖心亭，书二十八字云：“酿花天气雨新晴，一片清光两岸平。最好湖心亭上望，满堤人似水中行。”
