Description
English: Church of Saint-François de Lavaur. The choir with large very long windows surmounted by an oculus. This part uses the Languedoc style of the 14th century. The elegance of the foliage which adorns the capitals of the pilasters of the triumphal arch suggests that they were made at the time of Bishop Archambaud de Lautrec, around 1347-1350, like the portal of the church. The altar in Carrara marble is in the neo-Gothic style of the 19th century.
