Description
English: A CWGC gravestone for Pioneer Charles Herbert Lee which is located in the church yard of Saint Giles in the village of Colby, Norfolk.
Pioneer Charles Herbert Lee of the Royal Engineers. He died on the 14 November 1918 aged 28. Cause of death was off Pneumonia probable as a side effect of the Spanish Flu. He died in the Military Hospital in Kempston, Bedfordshire. His army number was 356736 and he had enlisted in February 1918. He waas the husband of K. G. Scott (formerly Lee), of Plumstead Hall Cottage, Aldborough.
