Notes In a contemporary gold-tooled purple morocco binding signed by Hering. The binding was later embroidered in colours. Part of the Charles Ramsden Collection of Signed Bindings. Accompanied by a blind tooled maroon grained leather box (with a lock), lined in blue velvet. Yellow silk endleaves and pastedowns. Turn ins elaborately tooled in gold.
