Description
Deutsch: Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche. Die in den Jahren 1891 - 1895 errichtete Kirche wurde während des 2. Weltkrieges zerstört. Lediglich die Ruine des ursprünglich 113 Meter hohe Kirchturmes wurde nicht abgerissen und blieb als Mahnmal erhalten. Rechts im Bild der 1959 - 1963 errichtete Neubau der Kirche.
English: Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The church, which was built between 1891 and 1895, was destroyed during World War II. Only the ruins of the church tower, which was originally 113 meters high, were not torn down and remained as a memorial. On the right in the picture the new church built between 1959 and 1963.
