Description
Deutsch: Doberaner Münster. Das heutige Kirchengebäude wurde 1386 als Klosterkirche eingeweiht (Zisterzienserkloster). Nach der Reformation und Auflösung des Klosters wurde das Gebäude Pfarrkirche der evangelischen-lutherischen Gemeinde von Bad Doberan. Das Kirchengebäude gilt als eines der schönsten Bauwerke der Backsteingotik.
Simple English: Doberan Minster. The current church building was consecrated as a monastery church in 1386 (Cistercian monastery). After the Reformation and the dissolution of the monastery, the building became the parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Bad Doberan. The church building is considered one of the most beautiful brick Gothic buildings.
