Demonstration of evaporative cooling, showing the temperature reading going down as ethanol evaporates

Summary edit

Description
English: Demonstration of evaporative cooling. When the sensor is dipped in ethanol, the thermometer shows that it is with room temperature. When the sensor is taken out, the ethanol on the sensor takes heat energy from the sensor to evaporate, which causes decreasing of the temperature. Performed by Prof. Oliver Zajkov at the Physics Institute at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, Macedonia.
