Description: In the summer of 2019, Donald Trump Square was inaugurated, with the aim of expressing the city's appreciation for the work of the former US president and his support for Israel.

שם: פתח תקוה כיכר ארצות הברית
תיאור: בקיץ 2019 נחנכה כיכר דונלד טראמפ, וזאת במטרה להביע את הערכת העיר לפעלו של נשיא ארה"ב לשעבר ותמיכתו בישראל.
הערות: מיד לאחר מכן החל גל ביקורת נגד ההחלטה לקרוא לכיכר על שמו של נשיא ארצות הברית לשעבר בשל התנהלותו, אירועי הקפיטול בשנת 2021 ועוד, כשלאחרונה אף הוגשו נגדו כתבי אישום.בעקבות כך החליטה העיריה לשנות את שם הכיכר ל "כיכר ארצות הברית" זאת במטרה "להוקיר את תמיכתה יוצאת הדופן של ארצות הברית במדינת ישראל".(מיינט פתח תקוה)
