Name: Elite Ramat Gan building
Description: The Elite factory was built in 1933 in Ramat Gan, by the businessman Eliyahu Promchenko from Latvia. With the Nazi elite in power, he moved his business to Israel and, together with other investors, established the first chocolate factory in Israel at the entrance to Ramat Gan on the historic road from Jaffa to Petah Tikva

תיאור: בית החרושת עלית נבנה בשנת 1933 ברמת גן, ע"י איש העסקים אליהו פרומצ'נקו מלטביה. עם עלית הנאצים לשלטון הוא העביר את עסקיו לישראל ויחד עם משקיעים אחרים , מקים את מפעל השוקולד הראשון בארץ בכניסה לרמת גן על הדרך ההיסטורית מיפו לפתח תקווה
הערות: הבניין תוכנן על ידי המהנדס שלמה פונרוב בסגנון הבאוהאוס. המפעל פעל עד שנת 2007, לאחר מכן שימש המחלקה לאמנות של מכללת שנקר וכיום הוא בתהליכי שימור והפיכתו לבנין ציבורי.
