| Description |
Taken in November 2006. The end of a splendid day's walking in the upper Dove Valley. I had chosen my route to finish on a quiet lane as this would be easier if I was delayed and it started to get dark. I was lucky to arrive at this viewpoint just as the evening light was at its best. The distinctive pointed Chrome Hill is just to the left of centre and Longnor village can be seen amongst the trees on the left edge if viewed large. The shadow detail was improved in 2008 and in January 2009, armed with better technique, the colours have been improved as well. Looks best if you <a href="http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/onblack.php?id=1468577960&size=large" rel="noreferrer nofollow">View On Black</a>. |
