English: Members of 12 Regiment Royal Artillery fire the Starstreak High Velocity Missile from the Stormer vehicle platform during an anti aircraft demonstration during Exercise Ramstein Legacy 22 in Poland. Ramstein Legacy (RALY) 22 is the principal Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) focused live-fly exercise (LIVEX) for 2022. The exercise provides opportunities for testing and validation of technical, tactical and operational interoperability in the IAMD domain by using the existing NATO network environment. The primary objective is to train tactical level Command Control (C2), practising procedures with live forces in Poland and Baltic Sea Region. The UK contribution to Exercise Ramstein Legacy includes Stormer, the platform for the Starstreak High Velocity Missile system, along with approximately 100 personnel from 7th Air Defence Group, with one battery in Amari Airfield and one in Ustka, Poland. |
