Description A boom of absorbent materials deployed by a U.S. Coast Guard salvage and response crew contains an oil spill on the Mississippi River from the partially sunk tug boat Stephen L. Colby near Le Claire, Iowa, Dec. 3, 2013. The USCG crews deployed more than 7,100 feet of oil absorbent boom material and collected more than 1,800 cubic feet of oily waste from the wreck.
