Español: Mapa moderno ("tabula nova") de la península Ibérica publicado en la edición de la Geographia de Ptolomeo de 1535 o 1541, con mapas de Lorenz Fries. Este mapa, propiedad del Instituto Geográfico Nacional, fue adquirido ya con una manipulación moderna constatada y consistente en añadir las naves, el escudo y la fecha de 1499 con el propósito de hacerlo pasar por incunable. La toponimia está en latín y en italiano. El escudo de armas es el de los Reyes Católicos pero con la peculiaridad de mostrar las armas de Aragón-Sicilia y Castilla-León invertidas respecto a la representación más habitual. |
