SULU SEA (Aug. 16, 2015) An MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned aircraft system attached to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 35 takes off from the flight deck of the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) during deck landing qualifications. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region's littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing U.S. 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
