  • Italiano: Dettaglio, con monogramma di Alessandro Manzoni (e di "Ave Maria"), della Casa Manzoni a Milano in Piazza Belgiojoso. In questo edificio lo scrittore Alessandro Manzoni abitò dal 1814 alla morte (nel 1873). L'aspetto attuale, tipico (e ormai raro) esempio dello stile "eclettico" ottocentesco, in terracotta e graffito, si deve all'architetto e scultore Andrea Boni. Il palazzo ospita oggi il "Museo manzoniano" (con cimeli del Manzoni), il "Centro di studi manzoniani", e la "Società storica lombarda". Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 14-2-2008.
  • English: Detail, showing Alessandro Manzoni's own (as well as "Ave Maria") monogram, of the Casa Manzoni palace in Piazza Belgiojoso square in Milan. In this building writer Alessandro Manzoni lived from 1814 until his death (in 1873). Its facade is a typical (and by now rare) example of the eclectic 19th century style, in terracotta e graffito, by architect Andrea Boni.
