Description
English: Description/Blazon

Shield Argent, a fess archy of the colors of the rainbow Proper above a Maltese cross Sable, a bordure Azure. Crest That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Ohio Army National Guard: On a wreath of the colors Argent and Azure, a sheaf of seventeen arrows Argent bound by a sprig of buckeye fructed Proper (Aesculus glabra, two leaves with bursting burr). Motto FOLLOW ME.

Symbolism Shield The shield is white with the blue border ? the older and the later Infantry colors. The rainbow is the device of the 42d Division in World War I and the black Maltese cross recalls the service of the Regiment in Puerto Rico in the Spanish-American War. Crest The crest is that of the Ohio Army National Guard.
