VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (April 12, 2017) Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 fast rope from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Nightdippers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5 during helicopter rope suspension technique training at Joint Expeditionary Base Fort Story. EODGRU-2 is headquartered at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story and oversees Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 and all East Coast-based Navy EOD mobile units.
