Summary edit
Description179-Uniform Tiling (all VRPs) Fundamental Unit.png |
English: The fundamental unit of a 179-dual-uniform tiling consisting of all arbitrary uniform vertex regular planigons (VRPs). There are 14 such VRPs. This tiling has group pmg (chevron strips). Omitting the equilateral triangle and isosceles trapezoid can cut the dual uniformity to 50; so this tiling has 95-dual-uniformity on average. This is courtesy of Paul Hofmann, https://www.biglist-tilings.com/.
There are actually 179 vertex regular planigons (VRPs) in the fundamental unit, hence it is 179-dual-uniform. |
