Description
English: The house on the left is 1846 16th Street NW in Washington, D.C. It was built in 1900 for Medal of Honor recipient Lieutenant Colonel Frederick Füger and designed by Albert and William Speiden. It was later the home of Mark C. and Zaidee Bullis and the couple's squirrel Tommy Tucker. The house on the right, 1600 T Street NW, was built in 1900 for physician George M. Kober (the namesake of the Association of American Physicians' medal for outstanding contributions to medicine or medical science) and also designed by the Speiden brothers. It was later the home of Representative John J. Fitzgerald. The buildings are contributing properties to the Sixteenth Street Historic District.
