Deutsch: Schwarzweiß-Druck nach eine im Historischen Museum Hannover erhaltenen Reproduktion eines Klischeedrucks vom verschollenen Original einer um 1850 von dem königlichen Schatzkanzlisten Heinrich August Erdmann (H. Erdmann; 1788-1854) gefertigten Bleistiftzeichnung vom

„Aegidientorplatz“

in Hannover.
Zu sehen ist

  1. rechts der Bildmitte die vor dem Ausgang der Braunschweiger Straße befindliche kleine Aegidientorwache, die nach der Anlage der Aegidien-Neustadt um 1748 erbaut und 1855 abgebrochen wurde;
  2. das Eckhaus der 1844 für den Apothekers Arnold Hildebrand erbauten, im Zweiten Weltkrieg 1943 zerstörten Aegidienapotheke;
  3. das Eckhaus zur Breite Straße von dem Materialwarenhändler Rode
  4. im Hintergrund rechts ist ein Teil des Stadt-Walles
  5. und im Hintergrund links das Haus des Oberjustizrates Meyer im ehemaligen Kümmeschen Garten, das sich als Hinterhaus ebenfalls bis 1843 erhalten hatte.
