English: A 1852 map of the French department Isere. It is presented with a statistic description, information about the territory, curiosities and famous people, production and trade. The map is surrounded by portraits of Casimir Perrier and Bayard, pictures of an eagle, vine, a flag of Grenoble city, game, chamois, fish, chimneys, guns and cannonballs, a glove box, ratafia, knives and cissors, hat and glassware. Published by V. Levasseur in the 1852 edition of his Atlas National de la France Illustrée.
Français : Une carte de 1852 du département français de l'Isère. Elle est accompagnée d'un descriptif statistique, d'informations sur le territoire, les curiosité et les célébrités, les productions et le commerce. La carte est entourée des portraits de Casimir Perrier et Bayard, d'un aigle, de vigne et d'un drapeau portant le blason de Grenoble ; de gibier, chamois, poissons, brebis, de cheminées d'usines, ancres, canons et boulets, d'une boîte de gants et de ratafia, couteaux et ciseaux, chapeau et verrerie. Publiée par V. Levasseur dans l'édition de 1852 de son Atlas National de la France Illustrée.
