Description
Deutsch: Schwarz-Weiß-Druck des 1872 oder 1873 von der Malerin Luise Hildebrand (Schülerin von Edmund Koken) gefertigten Aquarells, das sich im Besitz des Historischen Museums Hannover befindet. Der Druck im Buch ist von den Autoren und Herausgebern untertitelt

„Blick vom Aegidientorplatz zur Georgstraße“

und zeigt im Vordergrund ganz links das Haus mit der Apotheke ihres Vaters, des Apothekers Arnold Hildebrand. Unterhalb des Original-Bildes besagt eine Notiz

„Zustand um 1863“

Laut Buchangaben ist das Haus rechts neben der Apotheke am

„Georgsplatz 7“

das ehemalige Wohnhaus des Ober-Kammerherrn Freiherr Knigge.
Das originale Aquarell ist laut der Angaben im Buch offensichtlich von dem

„Pastor i.R. Saalfeld“

Ein hochaufgelöstes Digitalisat des Originals vom Historischen Museum wäre wünschenswert ...
