Deutsch: Deutsches Reich: Am 18. Januar 1871 wird der preußische König Wilhelm I. im Spiegelsaal des Schlosses zu Versailles zum Deutschen Kaiser ausgerufen. In der Bildmitte: Otto von Bismarck, vor ihm Generalfeldmarschall Graf Hellmuth von Moltke. Bismarck trug dabei eine blaue Uniform und nicht eine weiße, wie es Anton von Werner es unhistorischer Weise dargestellt hat. Reproduktion nach einem Gemälde von A. v. English: Germany: On January 18, 1871, the Prussian King Wilhelm I was proclaimed in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles to the German Kaiser . In the center of the picture : Otto von Bismarck , before him General Field Marshal Count Hellmuth von Moltke .
