Description

1899 Family Group

Grandmother Kingery posed her children in a garden back of their home on the campus of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. My guess is that she took it in early spring during 1899. Mother is holding the sprinkling can.

(The first scan was so bad I almost tossed the original. So as an experiment, I immersed the 4x5 glass plate in cold water and used cotton balls to clean it The result is uneven, but I have a sharp scan this time.)
