Description
English: The now secured ruins of the chapel, N°10 on the model exhibited inside Hougoumont farm : ►(File:18_June_1815_–_Waterloo_–_Hougoumont._Model_of_the_farm.jpg).

This was the private chapel of Hougoumont château, before the intervention of Napoleone Buonaparte (1769-1821) in June 1815.

Already in 1907, a large commemorative bronze plaque has been affixed to its western wall (shown) : ►(File:18_June_1815_–_Waterloo_–_Hougoumont._The_chapel,_plaque_1907.jpg).

The gate on the right leads to the former orchard.
