Description
English: On January 5th, 1920, six former mayors of Allentown gathered for this photograph during the inauguration of Mayor Malcom W. Gross, the 24th Mayor of the City of Allentown.

Shown standing are, left to right, Charles O. Hunsincker (1909-1911); Dr. C. D. Schaeffer (1907-1908); Alfred L. Reichenbach (1916-1919), and Charles W. Rinn (1912-1915). Seated are James L. Schaadt (1899-1902); Malcom W. Gross, and Fred E. Lewis (1896-1899, `1902-1905).

Mayor Malcom Gross would go on to serve as mayor from 1920 until 1931, then again between 1936 and 1939. Fred Lewis would again serve as mayor between 1932 and 1935.
