English: Eugen Bjørnstad in Alfa 8C 2300 at the II George Vanderbilt Cup Race in USA on Monday 5 July 1937 as entry #16 for the Balmacaan Team, which was ran by brothers Alastair Bradley Martin (1915-2010) and Esmond Bradley Martin (1915-2002); their grandfather Bradley Martin used to frequent the Balmacaan house outside of Inverness. Eugen did not finish because his transmission broke after 60 laps.[1] This was the (or one of the) very last race he did in this car, the 1932 model Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza s/n 2111041

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States. Note that a few countries have copyright terms longer than 70 years: Mexico has 100 years, Jamaica has 95 years, Colombia has 80 years, and Guatemala and Samoa have 75 years.
