Summary edit

Description

The Series E was built from 1938 replacing the 1935 Series I and Series II Morris 8 , it was replaced by the Minor MM in 1948. The Series E got a complete restyle with its unique 'waterfall' grille, the running boards were gone and the sloped back headlights were now in the guards. The 918cc engine got upgraded with a new head but was still a sidevalve. Available in 2 and 4 door saloon, convertible and also the upmarket Wolseley 8

The van was now the Series Z, the headlights still mounted on top of the guards, similar grille, but horizontal bars. A utility version was available in Australia.
