Summary edit

Description
English: 1956 Hudson Rambler four-door sedan, "Custom" trim model - built by the American Motors Corporation (AMC). This four-door sedan features the popular factory optional "Continental" spare tire mount as well as AMC's factory air conditioning system. It is finished in Ballerina Red (pink) with Frost White two-tone body trim, These were classified as "compact" cars (compared to the standard "Big-Three" U.S. domestic models of the time). The new Rambler line was marketed by both Hudson and Nash dealerships during the introductory 1956 model year. The cars were nearly identical, except for hubcaps with an 'H' in the center, as well as the Hudson logo on the hood and the center 'H' grille insert. The total production of Hudson Rambler models in 1956 was 20,496 (both four-door sedan and station wagon body styles). Photographs were taken during the 2017 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention that was held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This show was organized by the Potomac Ramblers Automobile Club.
