Summary edit

Description 1956 Maserati 300 S (chassis 3056) at Pebble Beach 2014, entered by Scott and Joan Kriens[1]. It was built in June 1955 for the Spanish gentleman driver Francisco Godia Sales of Barcelona. For the 1957 Nurburgring 1000 km this 300S was driven by a strong team of drivers: Francisco Godia Sales, Horace Gould, Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio and Giorgio Scarlatti, who all shared the car and finished fifth overall. By 1958 Maserati had largely withdrawn from racing but this car has continued to be raced since by its many owners.
